Discarded, outmoded, unwanted stuff….my passion is to breathe new life into these by-products of our society’s overconsumption and planned obsolescence. My ‘stuff’ collection is growing! and I try to use as few new materials as possible. I find inspiration from whatever I have on hand to express my anxieties and hopes in these hairy times of eco disasters, political divides, personal trauma, with a focus on healing on different fronts, from personal to global. Other than one textile course I took at OCAD 2000-2001, I am self-taught, now working in home studios in Toronto and Hillsburgh, ON.
